DOMa is an international periodical dealing with the architectural process. Nuno Melo Sousa disrupts the industrial homogeneity of the “Corcet Headquarters” through a series of small, unexpected formal and spatial interventions. Estruch Martorell – Estudi E. Torres Pujol – Ripoll Tizón transpose a housing layout from one site to another, adapting it to the specific conditions of the “Nine Public Housing Units”. Carles Enrich Studio develops “Eleven Housing Units in Palma” on a former marés stone quarry site, engaging with questions of pre-existence, habitability, construction, and energy. French 2D conceives “Bay State Cohousing” as an oversized house, hosting thirty families through a collective design process. Ten highlights the unorthodox contextuality of “House for Five Women”, while revealing the vibrant everyday life of its shared spaces.
