A new and better noise cancelling headphone, built on the VMK20 Can you actually improve headphones that were already brilliant? The VMK20 wireless noise cancelling headphones have been a hit: tens of thousands of pairs sold and praise from both press and customers. But progress progresses and you keep learning, and even the best noise cancelling headphones can evolve. So we built a new, even better model on top of them: the VMK25 noise cancelling headphones. Modern Finnish design, no blinking lights Finnish Ratamo Design redid the look: more modern, but still recognizably Valco. We wanted a modern look while keeping the "family resemblance," so nobody mistakes the VMK25 for the postman's kid. Because we don't think wireless headphones need to glow in the dark and blink, both status LEDs sit on the inside of the ear cup. That way you can be sure nobody spots you when you're crouching in a bush with these on, lying in wait. Swappable covers and a bit more personality A fun detail on the VMK25 is the magnet-mounted color covers, which you can easily swap, wash, and customize for your own amusement (or other people's annoyance). You can read more about them here. Redesigned drivers, better sound The previous noise cancelling headphones were already tuned to within an inch of their lives. Tweaks alone couldn't get them any better. So these have new composite drivers, which unlock even better sound quality than before. The Bluetooth tech is Qualcomm, same as before. Improved ANC and transparency mode ANC is now on a whole new level. A completely new ANC chip, paired with thick memory foam pads, blocks noise so effectively you can sit and listen to silence. And by customer request, transparency mode is in there too, even though we still think it's a bit silly. But you asked, we delivered.
