UETDRMP018 Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel (LVR)

UETDRMP018 Perform Rescue from a Live Low Voltage Panel (LVR) is designed for individuals working in the electrical industry or in environments where there is potential exposure to live low voltage electrical apparatus. This nationally accredited course provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to safely respond to an emergency involving a live low voltage panel. Participants will learn how to assess hazards and risks, follow appropriate isolation and rescue procedures, use rescue equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), safely remove a casualty from an electrical hazard, and respond appropriately following a rescue. The course is particularly suitable for electricians, electrical workers and other personnel who may be required to perform a low voltage rescue as part of their workplace responsibilities. Practical training provides participants with the opportunity to demonstrate the procedures required to safely perform a rescue from a live low voltage panel and respond to an electrical emergency. Statement of Attainment provided on the day following successful completion.
