It is the kind of gun that was built for use rather than show, with no buttplate, no nose cap, no entry pipe, no sideplate, and no patchbox. Jim drew this one directly from an original barn gun in a friend's collection, so it is true to the period in both spirit and detail. Because the design is simple, this is one of the easiest builds we offer. The design is ours and the machining is ours. The hand work, and the satisfaction, are yours.
