70 cl - 46% vol. Stauning R.Y.E. PX is a deeper expression of our signature rye, adding rich fruity layers in a more refined profile. It builds on the foundation of Danish rye tradition, gaining depth through careful cask selection and patient maturation — finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. It starts where Stauning always starts: local rye and barley from Denmark’s West Coast, 100% floor-malted and kiln dried at the distillery, then double distilled in small, direct-fired copper pot stills. The PX cask brings dark fruit intensity and a soft, velvety sweetness that sits naturally alongside rye’s spice and structure. Expect warm baking spices and dried fruits on the nose, followed by caramelised fig, ripe plum and toasted oak on the palate. Balanced, full-bodied, and gently warming, with a long, fruity finish that keeps unfolding.
