The non-ottoman version sits on approx. 13.5cm turned wooden feet, adding extra height to the bed frame. We recommend allowing an additional 20cm on the bed dimensions to manoeuvre the bed into position. We cannot return or exchange the bed if it does not fit through the stairs or the rest of the property. Our beds are designed to take UK standard-size mattresses only. Note: if you choose the ottoman gas-lift mechanism, the storage area is a hollow space beneath the mattress (there is no solid floor), and the ottoman version has no feet, unlike the wooden-slat base version.
