Magnum Bongran `Cuvee EJ Thevenet` Vire Clesse AOC France

This is a legendary vineyard yet just 4.5 hectares. Using late harvest, the juice has an extended fermentation and time on lees for up to two years and further years in bottle. The Thévenets do not release without a minimum of two years bottle age. With a hint of botrytis richness and zingy crispness, it retains mellow autumnal flavours. This wine has an unreal complex length.
