Silk Flora - Introductory Workshop

This full day introductory workshop designed for beginners to introduce them to flower making tools, basic safety and techniques. You will make two small hydrangea and violet brooches. After completion this workshop, you will be able to join any of the Silk Flora Beginners workshops. (Limited to a maximum of six participants) You will learn: - safety and handling of the high heat tools - purpose of each tool and how to use it - fabric treatment options - pattern placement, marking and cutting - different fabric usage and suitability - flower's usage - flower attachments - where to get suppliers - where to get patterns and books Electric iron and professional tools can be purchased here, hired here or you can bring your own.
