Ziegler carpet

This is a really stunning contemporary carpet, woven with an ancient Ziegler design, from the famous Ziegler carpets woven in Persia, in the late 19th century. Ziegler and Sultanabad have long been names associated with the most decorative and desirable carpets. With an open design and wonderful dyes, it is full of character and exquisite faded colours. A very fine weave on this modern carpet too, hand-woven by the best weavers, it would have taken around a year and a half produce a carpet of this size and quality. As it is hand-produced, using the best natural wool and dyes, they are incredibly tough and can withstand constant use.
