Stainless Hardware -- Tilt Base The complete hardware set for the Greyline Tilt-Up Base: four 3/8"-16 x 3.25" pivot bolts, four nuts, eight washers, and eight 1/4"-20 screws -- in stainless. The pivot is the one joint on the antenna that moves by design, and it lives at ground level where moisture collects. Plated hardware there is on a short clock; stainless ends it. Run the magnet test on the rest of your hardware while you are down there: real stainless barely notices a magnet; plated steel grabs hard. Replace with stainless, always.
