The Pentel NEO-SABLE round brush uses a blend of nylon fibers engineered for smooth, even coverage and precise detail work. Well suited to illustration, watercolor, and inking, it's an affordable, easy-care alternative to natural sable that also works for painting water-based-paint plastic models and other 3D pieces. Type: Round brush (丸筆) Bristle material: Blended nylon fiber Water retention: High — holds plenty of paint for even, streak-free coverage over wide areas Tip resilience: Firm, springy point that keeps its shape, even in the finer sizes, for fine detail and lettering Handle: Anti-roll cap on the end to stop the brush rolling off the desk, plus an anti-slip slit grip for steady control Available sizes: #0 (Fine), #6 (Small), #10 (Medium), #14 (Large), #18 (Extra Large) Easy Maintenance If the tip begins to splay with use, soak it in hot water (60–80°C) for 1–2 minutes to restore its smooth, well-gathered point. Nylon bristles are far easier to care for than natural animal hair, so the brush stays usable for a long time. Usage Notes Suitable for illustration as well as painting and coloring 3D objects such as plastic models. Use with water-based paints only. Do not soak the brush in thinner, retarder, or cleaning fluids containing organic solvents, as this may cause the tip to split.
