Aug 1 Watercolor: Desert Landscape

Watercolor: Desert Landscapes Saturday, August 1, 1-3pm Instructor: Shannon Driscoll Inspired by the natural beauty of the desert landscape, this welcoming workshop offers an introduction to watercolor painting. You'll learn foundational techniques while exploring how watercolor can become a mindful creative practice. Students will make simple compositional underdrawings, lay down background washes, use lifting techniques to make floating clouds and finish the with glazing details. Slow down, quiet the mind, and reconnect with yourself through art. Leave with the confidence to continue your watercolor journey and a creative practice you can return to for reflection, relaxation, and self-expression.
