Paper Embroidery: Stitchable Holiday Cards (set of 8)

Add embroidery to vintage cardstock prints. You'll get TWO sets of four vintage images overlaid with simple hand embroidery patterns, each measuring 3.5" x 5". Use these designs to create 8 greeting cards, gift tags or framed mini art using your own frames, colored cardstock, ribbons or other embellishment. HOW IT WORKS: Four different prints are all on each piece of 8.5"x11" 100-lb-weight cardstock. On the front are the four cards. On the back is a holiday stripe print in red, green and white. You'll get TWO of these 4-card sets. You'll cut the cardstock to separare cards. Use an embroidery needle to pierce the printed stitching guides on each. A #3 or #5 embroidery needles works well. Add simple hand embroidery using the one-page stitching guide and stitch illustrations. Suggested DMC floss #s are: 304 Medium Red, 909 Vy Dark Emerald, 676 Old Gold, and 760 Salmon. Finish as you like. Ideas include framing, punching a hole and adding ribbon for a gift card, and mounting to cardstock for a greeting card.
