The Cerbo GX MK2 is a complete communications centre that can be accessed via Bluetooth using the VictronConnect app, directly using the GX Touch 50/70 or Touch 50/70 Flush Mount colour touchscreens, via LAN, Wi-Fi access point or over the web using the Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal. This latest addition to the GX-range combines all the best of connectivity, redefining smart power solutions in every way. What are the updates in the MK2 version? There are now two fully functional CAN bus ports (VE.Can 1 and VE.Can 2), instead of one VE.Can and one BMS-Can port. VE.Can 1 is isolated, whereas on the previous model there was no isolated CAN bus port. The RJ-45 sockets have been rotated 180 degrees, so it’s easier to remove the cables. All three USB ports are now fully functional, instead of two functional and one only for power to a GX Touch screen. The digital inputs can now do pulse counting. You can instantly monitor your battery’s state of charge, power consumption, power harvest from solar panels, generator, and mains, or check tank levels and temperature measurements. Easily control the shore power input current limit, (auto)start/stop generator(s) or change any setting to optimise the system.
