Handcrafted in 18kt solid gold, The Sovereign is centred around an exceptional 4.06-carat pear-shaped diamond, embraced by The Sovereign Setting - Beyond Larissa's signature setting, created exclusively for this piece. Inspired by the flowing elegance of Baroque ornamentation, its sculptural curves cradle the diamond while becoming a work of art in themselves, proving that a setting should never simply hold a gemstone, but elevate it. Every detail has been considered. Hand-engraved botanical scrollwork flows seamlessly from the setting into the shank, while four accent diamonds are nestled within the engravings, revealing themselves as the light moves. Designed over the course of three months, The Sovereign celebrates the confidence that comes from making your own choices. It is a symbol of self-possession. A reminder that the most meaningful promises are often the ones we make to ourselves. Designer's Note: For generations, a diamond has represented a promise given by someone else. I wanted to create one that celebrated a promise made to yourself. The name Sovereign felt inevitable. To me, sovereignty isn't about a crown or a title. It's about becoming the person who no longer waits for permission, validation or circumstance before choosing the life they want. I wanted to design what, to me, felt like the ultimate ring. One where every surface rewarded a closer look. So I obsessed over the details, not just the engravings, but the setting itself. That led to the creation of The Sovereign Setting. Rather than hiding behind the diamond, I wanted the setting to become part of its beauty. Inspired by Baroque curves and flowing hand-engraved scrollwork, it embraces the stone with sculptural elegance, allowing the gold to feel just as significant as the diamond it holds. From there, the engravings continue uninterrupted into the shank, where four accent diamonds are integrated into the design. They're intentionally subtle...details that aren't immediately obvious, but reveal themselves over time. I truly believe the finest jewellery should never reveal everything at first glance. It should continue to surprise you, years after you've first worn it. And the Sovereign will do exactly that.
