Harmony Cabinet by Arnold Merckx for Pastoe, Postmodern Design, 1980s

Pastoe Harmony cabinet by Arnold Merckx in its original aubergine and pink-purple lacquer, with a distinctive 1980s postmodern appearance. The Harmony series was designed by Arnold Merckx for Pastoe. This cabinet consists of two modules, a central drawer unit and a wide overhanging top. The geometric composition and combination of aubergine, pink-purple and black give the cabinet its distinctive postmodern character. It is made of wood, lacquered board and metal, with the original finish and color scheme. Dimensions: 160 × 48 × 104 cm (W×D×H). Marked with the original Pastoe label. The cabinet is clean, sturdy and fully functional. The original lacquer is preserved and has not been overpainted or altered.
