Vintage Biot Blue Bubble Glass Jug

Striking vintage jug from Verrerie de Biot, made from mouth-blown glass filled with the tiny bubbles synonymous with the Provençal glassworks. Vivid blue applied glass trails sweep around the body, contrasting beautifully with the large clear handle and softly formed pouring lip. It is a wonderfully sculptural piece that works equally well as a water jug on the table or filled with flowers. Story: Found in a brocante in Apt, Provence, in August 2026. Condition: Very good vintage condition with light signs of use and no obvious chips or cracks. Natural variations and bubbles are inherent to the hand-blown glass.
