1960s Danish Teak Extending Dining Table by Arne Hovmand Olsen for Mogens Kold
1960s Danish teak extending dining table, attributed to Mogens Kold and produced to Arne Hovmand Olsen designs. The table has two drop-in leaves which extend the overall length to approximately 250cm and will seat up to ten people. The simple tapered legs and warm teak top are typical of Scandinavian mid-century design. Dimensions Width: 160 cm Depth: 85 cm Height: 75 cm Condition Structurally sound and sturdy. The top and leaves show surface scratches throughout, visible in the photographs. The two leaves are a slightly different colour to the main table top due to the main table having experienced mild sun‑bleaching. Finish shows general wear consistent with a 1960s, well-used piece; the extension mechanism and frame appear serviceable.
