Mandelic Peel 20%

Mandelic acid, referred to as the 'German Mandel - almond", is a larger molecule than glycolic acid molecule therefore is more easily tolerated on the skin types that cannot tolerate glycolic acid. Mandelic acid, as opposed to glycolic acid or lactic acid, has antibacterial properties and is lipophilic "oil-loving" making it the choice for oily, blemish-prone skin. Mandelic acid is recommended to improve the appearance of "acne brown spots", referred to as post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Do not use on clients that are pregnant or nursing. Ingredients: Purified Water, Glycerin, Trichloroacetic Acid 7.5%, Alcohol Denat, Lactic Acid 5%, 8% Mandelic Acid, Sodium PCA, Sodium Hyaluronate, Azelaic Acid, Kojic Acid, PH 0.48 Application Instruction: Cleanse and de-grease skin. Apply Mandelic Acid Peel with 4 by 4 pad or 4 by 4 gauze. Procedure should be timed according to how quickly erythema develops( faint pink), referred to as visual end point. Peel exposure time can be from 1 to 10 minutes. Special Note: For oily skin types, medium-thick skin, photo-damage, do not neutralize or rinse. Neutralize as with the Neutralizing Solution using a 4x4 wipe. Apply moisturizer. Apply SPF
