Charvin Extra Fine Artist Oil Paints were established in 1830 and based on ancient recipes. They made oil colours for such artists as Cezanne and Bonnard. With the highest possible concentration of pigment and poppy oil being the principal binder of all their colours, this gives the oils a brilliant appearance, plus a creamy texture, and most importantly prevents them from yellowing with age. They are also permanent with a high degree of lightfastness.
