Martin Acoustic Guitars - 2013 Custom Shop D-42 - Adirondack/Madagascar with K&K Pickup

This 2013 Martin D-42 delivers one of the most premium models from the Nazareth, PA Custom Shop. Featuring a pair of upgraded tonewoods including a gorgeous set of Madagascar Rosewood back and sides, this spruce/rosewood pairing is a classic Martin design, complete with luxurious, yet tasteful, 42-style appointments. That big, bold dread tone is on tap, with loads of headroom from the upgraded Adirondack top, and that rich blended low-end sound that has become a hallmark of Martin dreadnoughts. Here in Very Good condition, there is evidence of a previous binding re-glue that has been repaired and cleaned up by our repair shop, with minor remaining evidence below the heel and back waist (see photos). There is also playwear to the guard and minor finish dents to the top, nothing out of the ordinary for a fine instrument that got played.
