Petzl ASAP LOCK with ASAP’SORBER The Petzl ASAP LOCK with ASAP’SORBER combines the Petzl ASAP LOCK mobile fall arrester with the ASAP’SORBER energy absorber to provide a complete single-person fall arrest combination for professional rope access and work-at-height applications. During normal movement, the ASAP LOCK travels freely along the safety rope without requiring manual operation. In the event of a fall or uncontrolled descent, the device locks onto the rope to arrest the fall. The integrated LOCK function allows the ASAP LOCK to be immobilised on the rope, helping reduce potential fall distance and preventing the rope from being blown upwards in windy conditions. Available with either a 20 cm or 40 cm ASAP’SORBER, the two variants allow the system to be selected according to the work environment. The 20 cm version helps minimise potential fall distance, while the 40 cm version provides greater separation from the safety rope to free up working space.
