MUT Vintage Kilim 315x191cm

This vintage kilim was woven in 1998 by Tuba on the high plateau of Mut using sheep's wool and goat hair. Dusty rose, turquoise, and anthracite combine with vibrant color accents and a recurring Elibelinde motif. Its dense, robust Cicim weave and generous size of 315 × 191 cm are particularly well-suited for a living area with a sofa arrangement. A note from Beyza Nur "What I love about this kilim is the continuous Elibelinde motif and the raised texture of the Cicim weave. The fact that Tuba wove it in 1998 as part of one of the last nomadic communities in Anatolia using sheep's wool and goat hair makes it special to me."
