It begins with years of noticing—the architecture I've admired, the places I've traveled, the remarkable people I've met, and the curiosity that has shaped the way I see the world. I'd love to share my perspective behind this design. ________________________________________ WHY YOU'LL REACH FOR IT Lately I've been captivated by the botanicals appearing on the runways—especially oversized flowers and leaves against otherwise simple gowns. I loved that contrast: bold, dramatic shapes without a lot of fuss. It became the inspiration for this new Flower and Leaf Earring. I borrowed the bold botanical shapes I've been noticing in fashion. The flower and leaf make a statement, while the clean silhouette keeps the earring wonderfully uncomplicated. I love the idea of something this dramatic being surprisingly easy to wear. I can picture it just as readily with jeans and a crisp shirt as with a beautifully simple evening dress. The satin gold-plated finish gives all those bold shapes a softer glow. I especially love it against the warm brown crystal leaf hanging below. At two inches long, this earring was meant to have presence. An etched disc sits above the circular ring, with the brown crystal leaf providing the final bit of movement below.
