Phi console table

Named after the Greek letter used to denote the golden ratio, the Phi Console Table brings together architectural proportions, richly worked surfaces and carefully considered joinery. The inset top is made from real peppercorns set into tinted resin, using offcuts originally created for a set of Piper placemats commissioned by a New York architect. The dense, organic pattern creates a striking contrast with the blackened ash frame. Made entirely from solid ash, the table features softly curved bevels and a gently lustrous hard wax oil finish. Its substantial legs are carved, brushed and scorched by hand, creating a deeply tactile surface that reveals the character of the wood.
