2020 'Kay' Reserve Chardonnay

A slightly deeper straw‑gold with pale green edges. White peaches and nectarines remain front and centre, now joined by softer struck‑match notes, buttered toast and well‑integrated Burgundian oak that shows more clearly as the wine opens. The palate is seamless and rounded, moving from stone fruits to citrus to brioche with smooth, effortless flow. The acidity has mellowed into a finer line, balancing generous palate weight and delivering a long, refined finish. Six years on, the wine shows the full potential of our high‑altitude Lenswood site with added harmony and maturity. This Chardonnay has beautifully settled now, yet still capable of ageing further with grace. Serve with a decadent seafood risotto.
