Mullineux Schist Roundstone Syrah 2021 comes from Mullineux & Leeu Family Wines, a standout South African estate in the Swartland that has built a global reputation for terroir‑driven wines through sustainable farming and minimalist winemaking focused on purity and expression. The winery, led by Chris and Andrea Mullineux, has earned repeated high honours in the Platter’s South African Wine Guide and was recognised internationally as World’s Best Rising Star at the 2025 Golden Vines Awards, cementing its place among top producers worldwide. This Syrah is made from a single vineyard parcel on the schist soils of Roundstone Farm’s Kasteelberg, where rocky, freely draining ground produces small berries with concentrated flavour and structure.
