The MirrorDrive Ultra supports Class 10 or higher TF cards from 8GB up to 128GB. We recommend a 64GB or 128GB card for extended recording sessions. Loop recording ensures the card never fills up by automatically overwriting the oldest footage. How does the rear camera connect? + The 1080P rear camera connects to the mirror unit via the rear camera cable port. The cable runs along your vehicle's headlining to the rear. When reverse gear is engaged, the display automatically switches to the rear camera view with parking guide lines. Will it fit my car's existing rearview mirror? + Yes. The MirrorDrive Ultra uses elastic mounting straps that fit over your existing rearview mirror. It is compatible with the vast majority of cars and SUVs. No permanent modifications are required and installation takes around 15–20 minutes. Can I use it as a regular mirror when the screen is off? + Yes. When the screen is powered off, the front panel acts as a standard mirror. The IPS display sits behind a reflective surface, so your rearview functionality is always preserved regardless of whether the device is on or off. Does parking monitor work when the engine is off? + Parking monitor requires a hardwire kit connected to a constant power source in your vehicle (not included). When hardwired, the G-sensor activates recording if the vehicle is struck or moved while parked. Without hardwiring, the unit powers off with the ignition.
