Tatomer, Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir 2022

A new discovery for Trinkfluss. Graham Tatomer made his name championing Riesling and Grüner Veltliner in California's Santa Barbara, having spent years pursuing his passion for old school Germanic white wines (making us automatic fans!) and even working as assistant winemaker at the iconic Emmerich Knoll estate in Austria's Wachau. Now he is gaining attention for world-class Pinot Noirs, which the Wine Advocate describes as "beautiful and overperforming". This 2022 beauty is wonderfully transparent yet concentrated, with oodles of crunchy red fruit, attractive herb and spice, and just a touch of aromatic wood smoke. Perfect to accompany delicious charcuterie, mushroom pasta or risotto, or even Asian style salmon.
