DESCRIPTION This ceramic salad bowl is hand-painted inside and out in the Peacock design in Burnt Orange and Blue. It is stunning and the perfect bowl for salads or simply as a design statement piece. This is one of 14 designs from Italian Artisan Brand Geribi. 12" Diameter and Peacock design inside and outside of this item. The small imperfections such as the difference in color, shape, diameter or small bubbles that form inside, do not constitute a defect but testify that it is actually an artisanal product. ARTISAN STORY The Ribigini family has been producing majolica for many generations. Gerardo owns the workshop. His Father organized a group of artists after the ware and built a factory for 200 workers. When Gerardo was 15 his apprenticeship and started the business at the age of 20. Gerardo began as an apprentice at 15 years old. Now Gerardo, and his daughter, Claudia, hand-craft one of the most popular designs sold at Biordi, the peacock feather ceramic design. These patterns are special order. Allow 3 to 6 months to complete your special orders as each piece is made for you, and can also be personalized with your name and/or the occasion.
