Saladin Armoured Car - Deluxe Kit

Highly detailed, multi-part kit of the venerable Alvis Saladin armoured car. Entering service in 1958 and having nearly 1,200 examples produced, the Saladin has had a long and diverse career. During it's life with the British Army it saw service across the globe, from at home during the troubles, to emergencies in the Middle East, and internal security in Hong Kong, before retiring from frontline use in the mid-1970s. Running parallel to this British career, the Saladin served in almost 20 other forces and continues this service well into the 21st century with a further 6, helping earn and cement it's reputation as a dependable, versatile workhorse. This kit includes everything from the standard kit, such as antenna wires and driver, plus numerous additions to further enhance the modelling possibilities of this storied vehicle.
