Introducing The HST MiniTracker -- iOptron’s next generation ultra-compact SWG camera tracking device! Small enough to rest in your palm, yet can carry up to 4kg of imaging gear. The iOptron HST MiniTracker is the ultimate portable DSLR sky tracking device. Weighing only 800g this SWG (strain wave gear) mini imaging tool features 4 tracking rates, sidereal for stars and deep space, lunar for the moon, solar for the sun, and ½ rate for imaging the Milky Way with terrestrial objects in the foreground. Its DC stepper motor and SWG drive train operate silently as it precisely tracks the target subject(s). The metal CNC machined body is not only appealing to the eye, its rugged enough to take on any outdoor adventure. The HST has a vixen style dovetail that slides into the optional AZ base or it can mount directly to a tripod by a 3/8"-16 or 1/4"-20 post. Powered by an internal rechargeable Li-Poly battery, 3 AAAs or external 5 volt power bank giving the user flexibility to choose what best fits the assignment. The side bracket for holding an optional AccuAlignTM polar scope or iPolar has a “peek hole” for basic alignment. The HST MiniTracker is the optimal tracking solution for the on the go imager!
