Kids Beginners Quran - (Spring)

Class Information Name: Kids Beginners Quran Instructor: Anse Miski Dates: Apr. 13 - May. 14, 2026 Schedule: Mondays & Thursdays 5:00 - 6:00 pm Cost: $120/ 6 weeks Class Textbook: Al-Qaidah An-Nouraniah || القاعدة النورانية Class Description: This is a practical course through which students will learn to read the Arabic letters, harakat (short vowels), and gain the skill of decoding. This class is for beginners who have no prior knowledge or have learned the Arabic letters and would like to review them. Students will learn the Nuraniyyah method of decoding Quranic script, learn the types of Arabic sounds and how to pronounce them correctly, and work through interactive activities to implement and solidify their new knowledge. By the end of this course, students should be able to recognize all the Arabic letters and vowel sounds with ease and be able to pronounce most of them correctly while improving their general speed and fluency while reading short words and phrases from the Holy Quran. Students will also engage in a short lesson on Islamic values, prophetic character, hadith, beginners tafsir, and other Islamic topics to support the nurturing of a strong Muslim identity.
