Hi there! I’m Oliver! Happy to make your acquaintance! In fact, I’m happy about almost everything! I am a cheerful young guy who came all the way from Kansas to start a new life. I spent far too much of my early life in a basement crate, and I’m ready to make up for lost time. I’m a handsome, friendly, deluxe model retriever who will play fetch and tug of war until both of us are tired. I’m a chewer, but as long as I have a toy or bully stick, I promise not to destroy any of your stuff. I’m super friendly with other dogs, kids, cats… you name it. And I make a great copilot on a long road trip. Although I haven’t spent much time on a leash, I’m not a puller and could easily learn to heel. I am a good eater, but will not counter surf or steal (your food). I might steal your girl… I mean look at me! I sleep soundly through the night on the couch or your bed. I’d love an energetic fur brother or sister to play with—but I could also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only. Either way, I’m just excited to be part of a family. My one big request? I’d really love to never see a crate again. My last family used it a lot, and it’s just not my favorite place. I’m ready for a life where I can be out with my people, soaking up all the love I’ve missed.
