The outside material is a grippy rubber polymer and the inside material that touches the hand is a soft Kevlar blend. APEX will protect the most gentle of hands and stand up to the largest of athletes, no matter the training volume. Your grips and the bar should match. Both should either have chalk or be chalkless.
