Electric Branding Iron (Heater Only)

Need to add another heater to your branding setup so you can run multiple plates at one time? Want to upgrade your torch-heated branding iron to electric? This is what you need. This is the heater only and does not include a plate or plate mounting stud. What Wattage Do I Need? Your plate size determines the wattage! Plates under 4in² (2" x 2", 1" x 4", etc) need a 150W iron. Plates larger than this need a 250W. I'm feeling somewhat salty while I'm writing this, so I want to make sure you're understanding the whole "square inches" thing. A plate that is 4" x 4" is not 4in², it's 16in². You multiply the length times the width. Anyway, rant over. If you're replacing an old heater, the 250W heaters have "250" or "GH250" engraved on the brass nose right near the assembly screws. 150W heaters are unmarked.
