30s 40s Vintage Neck Tie Wide Plaid Brocade VFG

This 1930s to 1940s vintage necktie is quite wonderful, simple and subtle from a distance, rich and vibrant up close. The rayon fabric is a woven gabardine plaid in maroon with a fine-line diagonal plaid that creates tiny jolts of red and white. The tie is unlined, with top stitching at both ends, typical for earlier neckties.
