The Massacre of Anroechte

Hunnic horsemen storm Anröchte. Inspector Konka and his assistant Walter arrive to investigate the case. The mayor initially claims to know nothing so as not to jeopardize the town’s reputation. The confession of a suspect arrested by the Anröchte police is obviously staged. All the evidence leads nowhere. Konka realizes that when murders are random, there is no need to investigate motives; instead, the perpetrators must be arrested. Konka and Walter set off.
