Place It Where You Want It Use it in a window, along a handrail, on a wall, or in another display area. The lightweight design makes it easy to position and install. 3. When the season is over, simply take it down, fold it back up, and store it away until next time. Power & Controller Notes These matrices are designed for use with controller-programmed shows such as xLights and similar lighting software. 12V setup note: Best results are typically achieved when the matrix is set up less than 10 feet from the controller. Controller output and power handling can vary, so some setups may require power balancing or power injection depending on the controller and layout. Many users are able to run the 640-node version on 1 port and the 2,560-node version on 4 ports without issue when properly configured.
