Supplies A piece of fabric 60 x 7 cm (lightweight fabrics) or 60 x 4 cm (medium-weight fabrics), + 2 circles 5 cm in diameter A circle of fusible interfacing like Vlieseline G710 5 cm in diameter Matching thread A hand needle for finishing Optional: a brooch pin (removable accessory) or snap fasteners (trompe-l'œil button effect) Fabric Soft and lightweight fabrics are recommended for a beautiful drape and well-defined petals: viscose poplin, Lucente jacquard, Tencel satin, lace. For a structured effect with medium-weight fabrics (reversible jacquards in particular), use a narrower strip (60 x 4 cm) with a rolled hem finish.
