About Min Seonhong @hikarino.houe is a photographer based between Tokyo and Seoul. "BLIPS 02" is a sequence of memories unfolding from Zushi, a seaside town near Tokyo, through Hayama and on to Sajima. It began with a sunset I witnessed in Hayama in my twenties, and continues through fragments of memories gathered across multiple journeys, woven together into a single flow. Unlike the first volume — shot entirely in monochrome on the streets of Tokyo — this new work opens into color. The quiet light of the coast, the texture of a particular afternoon, the way a memory shifts when seen again years later: color here is not decoration, but a new register of feeling. Bound in a Coptic stitch binding, the spine is left exposed — the thread visible. The book opens flat to 180 degrees without resistance, inviting you to stay with each photo as long as you need.
