ADULT Summer Sewing Camp 2026 - Quilt Week! (June 22-26, 10:00 – 12:00)

This is not a beginner class. It's for adults who know how to sew on a sewing machine before they come to camp. ADULT Summer Sewing Camp 2026 - Quilt Week! (June 22-26, 10:00 – 12:00) Room for 12 students Located in Gilbert, Arizona, this camp is designed for teens and adults who have completed a beginner sewing class within the past 6 months. Students should be comfortable threading and using a sewing machine and sewing a consistent straight seam. During this week-long camp, students will build their sewing skills while creating a beautiful, functional project they’ll be proud to show off. This camp is perfect for both new and experienced young quilters, with multiple quilt options available based on each student’s skill level. Students will: Create their own small lap quilt using a selection of high-quality fabrics Learn beginner-friendly techniques like the nine-patch block and seam nesting Explore more advanced quilt designs (for experienced students) Assemble their quilt top Learn how to “sandwich” layers with batting Quilt their project using decorative stitches Finish their quilt with binding for a polished, professional look There is no guarantee each person will finish their quilt by the end of the week. Most people finish but everyone works at a different speed so it's determined by the student, not the schedule.
