Ghost Corner Pinot Noir
Ghost Corner Pinot Noir, from the small Elim wine region on the southern tip of the Western Cape is named after the rugged and mysterious landscape – which is home to several shipwrecks, and ghosts! Produced by winemaker David Nieuwoudt, this gorgeous Pinot Noir offers subtle notes of mocha and dark chocolate on the nose, followed by vibrant sweet and sour cherries, plums and pomegranate, followed by slight herbaceous notes. Whilst drinking beautifully now when paired with dishes such as grilled lamb and soft cheeses, this complex Pinot Noir will evolve and develop greater savoury notes if given 3-4 years.
