Altstadt

ALTSTADT 🏘️ A throwback to our Germany trip in December of 2024, that I just had to pull inspiration from for this collection, because the rich and dramatic teal accents of this building and square in Hamburg made it one of my favorite spots! Every old town (altstadt) in Germany is filled with so much charm, that it’s honestly hard to take it all in. But this building stopped me in my tracks because of the hazy glow that filled that December day, and made this one of the scenes that stands out the most in my memory. This colorway is filled with so many different values of teal that some places are lightened to a soft seafoam, whereas others are darkened to a beautiful sapphire blue hue! Speckles of deep plum and burnt sienna both stand out alone and also mix with the teal to create that lovely shade of oxidized copper - with pops of navy and amethyst finishing out the palette so beautifully!
