Use the options menu to select between a trackball or a touchpad for the pointing device. And thanks to the USB interface, you can connect it directly to a PC or other computer with a USB HID interface - it simply appears as a keyboard and mouse. A 2m USB cable is included. The keyboard is made to have an anti-static construction, with strong anti-slip rubber feet on the bottom. Or you can bolt it down to a surface using the holes on the skirting around the unit. Keys are laid out in a compact format, similar to those you may see on a Windows-based notebook PC. The function keys are accessed by a Fn-number key combination. The pointing device, whether it be trackball or trackpad, has three separate buttons for "mouse" use.
