Scouting America TruArc™ 5 Compass

In 2026, Brunton became the official compass for Scouting America and the Orienteering/Map & Compass merit badges. We are excited to support and participate in the education of such an important skillset for scouts. Brunton will even be at the 2026 Jamboree in July! The TruArc™ 5 compass makes intensive map work a cinch with vial meridian lines and a map magnifier to ensure you see every detail. The oversize baseplate is ideal for accurate triangulation, and the parallax-free azimuth readout design adds accuracy and ease of use.
