Fender Order Made ST-57 Stratocaster '57 Reissue MIJ 1991 Transparent Black w/ Matching Headstock Japan Fujigen HSS w/ Bag

This is a super cool and unique MIJ Order Made Fender '57 Reissue Stratocaster from the early 1990s! The guitar is comprised of an ash body, maple "C" shape neck, and maple fretboard. The transparent black finish with matching headstock looks awesome, displaying the wood grain nicely in a dark brown, with some green undertones. The back of the maple neck exhibits a nice flame. This Strat currently sports a DiMarzio Fast Track single coil sized humbucker in the bridge, nicely paired with the factory-equipped ST-Current neck and middle pickups. This HSS pickup configuration gives this guitar a ton of versatility, with great sounds in every position. This guitar is in nice shape for its age at over 30 years old! It does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The maple fretboard has also aged from over time with wear throughout. The hardware shows light patina consistent with age. The frets show some light play wear, but play great up and down the neck with plenty of life left. The electronics function as they should. Comes freshly setup with D'addario EXL110 (10-46 gauge) strings. This guitar came in with a few replacement parts, most notably the DiMarzio bridge pickup is a later replacement. The pickguard and backplate with accompanying screws are later replacements, with evidence of a slightly different style guard previously present. The tremolo arm is a later replacement, the guitar otherwise appears to be original. Includes the pictured Fender gig bag.
