HAWKER SIDDELEY G40 52’6″ GONDOLA Ex COIL CRADLE/ DEACTIVATED EOC CPLRS Most of the CN HS G40 “Cush Coil” gondolas (CN 136900–136981) had their coil troughs and fiberglass hoods removed beginning around 2000. On many cars, the exterior trough bolt holes were patched over. While they retained the 10″ end-of-car cushion coupler pockets, the spring mechanisms were removed and the pockets were welded in place.
