Races are CNC machined from heat treated and aged 6al-4v with a tensile strength of 170,00 psi then electroless nickel silicon carbide plated. The electroless nickel creates a layer of 70 rockwell plating with the silicon carbide nano particles being a 9.5 on the mohs scale nearly as hard as diamond for long lasting bearing life
