Carpe Diem Tee

Welcome to Twenty1 Tee! My name is Malia Mooney, and I created this artwork to show an open minded and positive message about making the most of every day. The thing that inspired me to make this design was a quote that I heard in one of my favourite movies, Dead Poet Society – ‘Carpe Diem’. My design uses bright, contrasting colours and a creative design to draw in people’s attention. The style is cartoonlike and gives the sun a personality all of its own. An open blue sky in the background keeps the focus on the sun and the text. The phrase ‘Carpe Diem’ means ‘Seize the Day’. The message that is conveyed is to remind people to remain positive and live life to its fullest. By purchasing mine and the other Twenty1 Tee designs, you will be contributing to Youngcare charity!
